We’re a privately held, hands-on holding company focused on building and operating ventures.
We deploy internal capital, build new ventures, and work directly within the companies we’re involved in to improve performance and create long-term value.
Briac Industries builds things
What should exist that doesn’t exist today?
Briac Industries is the building arm of the ecosystem. It exists to take an idea and turn it into a real, operating company. Its question is simple: what should exist that doesn’t exist today? It spots a gap, then does the hands-on work of filling it.
That work is execution-first: operations, hiring, products, and the long grind of finding and keeping customers. Building ServiceSurfer, launching RowBotics, and creating Cascade are all the same motion, an idea pushed through to a living business. Success is measured in revenue, users, adoption, and new ventures created where there was nothing before.
Hocari invents things
What becomes possible that wasn’t possible before?
Hocari is the invention arm of the ecosystem. It exists to push the frontier and ask what becomes possible that wasn’t possible before. It doesn’t need immediate revenue; its mandate is discovery, measured in breakthroughs rather than quarters.
Its focus is research and frontier systems: autonomous agricultural systems, novel energy systems, advanced robotics, and AI research tools. Success isn’t revenue but knowledge, patents, prototypes, and new capabilities the rest of the ecosystem can later turn into real ventures.
